Established for over 90 years, Herbert Walkers employ in excess of 100 people working shifts throughout the company enabling us to respond to today's demanding marketplace.

In the last three years we have invested in excess of £3 million in production, equipment and facilities.

We produce work for a diverse range of markets such as Financial, Mail Order, Greetings Cards & Wrap and General Promotional & Commercial Print.

Investment

We have invested in the next generation computer to plate technology including the ability to produce hexachrome utilising six colours.

In addition we have invested in digital technology purchasing a full colour Heidelberg Nexpress offering short run solutions for presentations, direct mail etc…

Further we have invested in Stochastic Screening, complementing our CTP facilities, enabling enhanced sharpness of printed picture/image.

2008 saw Herbert Walker invested in a Heidelberg six-colour press with twin coaters enabling 5/1 perfecting with various varnish options available. Then in 2009 a Heidelberg XL105 five-colour and coater press. These significant investments are enabling us to stay ahead of the competition through helping to facilitate our customer's requirements more effectively.
